*Canada Bear hunt 2010* Another successful trip at Tippmann Outfitters for TNA adventures. This was our third trip up to Quebec Canada with Jack Tippmann. Second time with bear, and last September we went up for moose. One of our favorite things about going is the thrill of the hunt. It’s not like white tail hunting, it’s just something about sitting in the stand anticipating the very moment when that bear could walk in, sometimes right underneath your stands, and it’s like no other feeling. Another great part about the trip we love is the fact we have the opportunity to share it with our friends and family. This was our first hunt with the Victory Pink arrows and Innerloc broad heads, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We were fortunate enough to see bears almost every night! The first night we arrived it was decided that we would hunt the water. It hadn’t been hunted very much this year and there was potential of some big bears. After the first night on stand we had already seen one bear, started out with a pretty good averageJ! As the week went on we were not disappointed to say the least. I had some rough luck as we where unable to find the bear I shot, as I was just an inch to high. Two nights later Anthony made a successful connection with his Mathews Z7, the pink arrow found its place..Victory! After are extended stay at camp, we decided to pack up and head back to the states. As a favor to Jack we decided we would pull home one of the boats we used to hunt with, not know the adventure this boat would have for us! As we near the border, only two hours away, the tire blew on the boat trailer. As we pull to the side of the highway and get out to check how bad the damage was we realized it was not only the tire but the rim and all the parts! We were stuck, and had no choice but to call a tow truck. Tired and ready to be home we found ourselves sitting on the side of a very busy highway awaiting help. We had the opportunity of meeting one of the nicest police officers, he was called out to surveillance the area until the tow truck arrived. He was a fellow hunter himself, we passed time by telling hunting stories. He was quite the jokesters, I pulled the camera out to take pictures of the boat broke down and he grabs Anthony puts his hands behind his back and puts him over the boat for a great picture! What memories we will always have from a great hunt at Tippmann Outfitters with the Pink Arrow Project! August 25, 2010 TNA had the great honor to talk to a cancer survivor Dean Miller.
